Betatester nå :)

Code: Select all

Redesigned Tiled Navigation

    ‣ Completely new and tiled navigation improving usability a lot
    ‣ Support for user selectable favorite views
    ‣ Navigation structured by Prepare / Race / Analyse pattern replacing tab bar
    ‣ Reworked Trip, Timer, Speedo, Classic, Racer, Acceleration, and Satellites
View to benefit from space freed up [availability of views depends on
      LapTimer edition]
    ‣ New top level analytic views available: recent laps and system health status

User Interface Enhancements

    ‣ Completely new Engine View showing tons of engine data (OBD) [GrandPrix]
    ‣ Calculation of number of remaining laps based on tank capacity and consumption
    ‣ Expand / Collapse of sections in Lap List, Add-ons List, and Checklists
    ‣ Updated and a lot nicer Maps View
    ‣ New assistant style for Define User, Autocross, New Track [tbd]
    ‣ Reworked coloring scheme for best laps and time made good / lost
    ‣ Redesigned icon set and further addition of iPhone6 Plus resolution graphics
    ‣ Tons of refinements of user interface to provide an even nicer, simpler,
      and more convenient experience

Apple Watch support

    ‣ Display current, gap, and last lap time on an Apple Watch paired
    ‣ Support for some one-button-push actions to remote control LapTimer

Video and Overlay Features

    ‣ Full support for Sony's line of cams: MultiCam operation [GrandPrix]
    ‣ GoPro's line of HERO cams is now officially supported: HERO3/3+/4 [GrandPrix]
    ‣ Improved preview for external cams, optimized connection making [GrandPrix]
    ‣ For easy video overlaying, footage from external cams is transferred
automatically between action cam and LapTimer now [GrandPrix] [tbd]
    ‣ Several improvements to video overlays, e.g. time display, enhanced
      configuration options [Petrolhead]
    ‣ Display of heart beat rate if available from Health Kit [GrandPrix]

New Accelerometer Support

    ‣ Completely reworked accelerometer calibration
    ‣ Besides individual calibration, LapTimer offers presets for LHD, RHD, video,
      and motorbike use cases
    ‣ For those with a permanent mount, individual calibration can be locked
    ‣ No recalibration when device orientation is changed
    ‣ Support for flipped lineal and lateral acceleration
    ‣ New Sensor list section for inertial measurement units (like Accelerometer)
    ‣ Added display of calibration status to several views

New Sensor Support

    ‣ Added full support for Autosport Labs RaceCapture/Pro MK2 device; this
sensor delivers 50 Hz GPS and 50 Hz OBD; NB: as long as only Bluetooth
is supported by ASL, a BT to WiFI bridge is required; contact us to get
      more information [GrandPrix]
    ‣ Added full support for Automatic OBD adapter [tbd]
    ‣ Added display and health check for GPS disturbances using Kp-Index
    ‣ Added support for Bluetooth Low Energy devices (GPS and OBD)
    ‣ For those designing their own OBD solution, a "read only" mode has been added
allowing to stream in any ELM327 replies without complex (and slow) request
      and reply patterns
    ‣ Several improvements to sensor connection making and data handling
    ‣ Groups of sensors not used can be disabled altogether; as an example,
all WiFi sensors can be disabled - which reduces system load

Enhanced Analytics

    ‣ Shows heart beat information overlaid to Laps (max per lap) and Charts
in general (requires some Health Kit compatible accessory) [GrandPrix]
    ‣ Touching a lap in Laps View (bar chart), gives you a quick look into lap
details now; a transition to the full Lap Details View is available too
    ‣ Longitudinal and lineal acceleration graphs show lineal and longitudinal
acceleration as a dotted line now allowing trail breaking analysis
    ‣ Added adaptive path simplification to charts improving display speed of high
update rate recordings for very long tracks

Improved Motorbike support

    ‣ Much improved handling of lean angles for motorbikes
    ‣ Support for measured lean angle / lateral acceleration based on down force

Model / Import / Export Enhancements

    ‣ New vehicle types supported (speedboat, jetski, ski)
    ‣ Added vehicle data lookup provided by Edmunds
    ‣ Completely reworked vehicle data handling and import / export
    ‣ Added support for compressed Google Earth files (.kmz)
    ‣ Further improvements to import (e.g. all caps allowed for .VBO etc)
    ‣ Added OBD (rpm and throttle) information to VBO export (and import)

System and Refactoring

    ‣ Full 64 bit support making LapTimer integrate a lot better into iOS
    ‣ Raised minimum iOS version requirement to iOS7.1
    ‣ Cleaned up code and removed all iOS6 and older compatibility stuff
    ‣ Removed single density artwork
    ‣ Extensive profiling and performance tuning

Bugfixes

    ‣ and - needless to say - dozens of smaller bugfixes and improvements

Interessant. Den har alltid vært lite intuitiv og klønete i bruk kontra Racechrono synes jeg.

Enig i det, men denne kan en smule mer enn RaceChrono :) Skal bli fint å endelig få GoPro-video inn uten å ha en PC i mellom.
